Extracurricular Programs


MATH COUNTS
MATHCOUNTS offers 7th and 8th grade students a fun and challenging after school math program that promotes critical thinking and problem solving skills.  Students meet weekly and, in the Spring, a team of students participates in the MATHCOUNTS Competition Program.

BEGINNING CHESS LESSONS
Students who wish to learn chess may sign up for after school chess classes conducted by Academic Chess. Their parents contract directly with Academic Chess for classes that are conducted once a week in one of the classrooms.  

GUITAR LESSONS
The school offers parents the opportunity of providing their children with guitar lessons one day a week after school. The San Francisco Guitar School provides these classes.  Full payment is due before the first day of class. 

DRAMA CLUB
Students in 5th-8th grade develop their acting, singing and communication skills by participating in our Spring Musical.  Participants pledge to be team players”, to “respect each other” and be “kind and polite, while developing confidence, self-discipline and creativity".  We produced Annie Jr. in 2013, High School Musical Jr. in 2014, WIzard of Oz Jr. in 2015, WIllie Wonka Jr. in 2016,   Madagascar Jr.  in 2017,  and Cinderella G2K in 2018.
