Our close-knit, enthusiastic community, comprised of parents and parishioners, generously supports
the children of Saint Stephen School. Our parents serve as leaders of the Women's Guild and Men's Club,
coach CYO teams, volunteer at and attend both our fundraisers and friendrairsers,
including our Family Bingo Night,Annual Auction, Easter Egg Hunt, and Grandparents Day.
Our parents’ energy, expertise and wisdom enrich and improve the lives of our students.
OCTOBER WOMEN'S GUILD MEETING
Join us for the second Women’s Guild Meeting tomorrow night - Wednesday, October 20th, hosted by the 7th Grade moms. Doors open at 6:45pm and the meeting will begin at 7:00pm.
Second Chance Uniforms will be available to purchase at the meeting. Each item is $5. Payments can be made via PayPal and Venmo.
All Moms will be asked to attest to their vaccination status upon entry.
Remember, time spent attending a Women’s Guild Meeting counts toward your 40 hour volunteer commitment. We look forward to seeing you there!
MEN'S CLUB NEWS
The Men's Club invites all dads in our community to the Men's Club Meeting this Thursday, October 7th at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held outside next to Donworth Hall, adjacent to the school yard. Food and beverages to be provided. In accordance with the policy for Donworth Hall, all attendees must be fully vaccinated and be prepared to provide proof of vaccination. Masks are also required to be worn regardless of vaccination status, indoor or outdoor, unless actively eating or drinking. Students have now received information packets explaining our coloring/design a bookmark competition. Entries should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, October 22nd. There will be two prizes per grade. We can't wait to see what the kids come up with!
Teachers have also sent out their wish lists. Please consider buying a book for your child's classroom. This is an easy, and very much appreciated way to support St. Stephen.

On Thursday, October 21st the Second Grade class will transform Donworth Hall into a Pumpkin Patch for the day. Students will have the opportunity to visit the pumpkin patch with their class and choose a pumpkin to take home for $4. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting 8th Grade graduation activities. If you would like your child to participate please send $4 via Venmo to @Linda-Murphy-39862 or PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org. The last day to pay is today, October 19th. RE-LAUNCHING ST. STEPHEN'S ART PROGRAM - ART IN ACTION
We are so happy to announce the re-launch of St Stephen’s Art Program in conjunction with Art in Action (AIA) for Grades 1 through 8 starting October 4, 2021. Parent Volunteers will deliver monthly lesson plans developed by AIA focused on a specific artist and/or genre, incorporating various art techniques, styles, and mediums and connecting with other curriculum subjects such as history, science, and math. The Art Program will be delivered pursuant to the school’s health and safety protocols. Student art will be showcased through the St. Stephen Instagram account (anonymously) and the School’s Open House.
